Dear friend, The Academy of Astrology and The Tradition journal invite you to participate in the Animodar Project a global research project of Traditional Astrology. The aim of this project is to apply the traditional chart rectification method of Animodar to as many charts as possible, using a computer program especially created to this purpose. Everybody with accurate birth data is invited to contribute. To participate you just have to submit accurate data and you can do this by completing the on-line form. Our own research has demonstrated that this method, which was very popular in centuries past, has great potential. In order to test this, we need a very large number of nativities with known birth times. We will, of course, publish the results so that all astrologers might know whether the Animodar is a useful tool or not. We are pleased to announce that the payment system for the charitable donations for The Tradition is finally settled. Due to technical issues The Tradition cannot be purchased in advance, each new issue can be purchased only after the date of publication. If you have registered your e-mail address with us, an e-mail will be sent to you each time a new issue is available. Once available, each issue or back issue can be purchased individually using a PayPal account or credit card (through PayPal). As to the charity, we will be donating 100% of all subscriptions to Associação de Protecção Animal do Algarve (Association for the Protection of Animals of Algarve), a registered charity in Portugal, run by Linda Pixley, and set up primarily to rescue abused, stray and abandoned cats and dogs.
